The Weekly Collective: Wedding Reception at the Hacienda & Baby Fever

Ahhh June. The air is warmer, the days are longer, flowers are in full bloom, and everywhere I turn, people are having babies. This past week alone three women I know gave birth to three beautiful little bundles of joy. Not to mention the other three women I know who are still pregnant! Yeah, there’s definitely something in the air.  So if you’re wondering why I’m walking around town with a medical mask on, it’s not because I’m afraid of catching SARS.

Now that I’ve cleared that up, I am SO excited to welcome babies Diego, Luke, Blaire!!! And of course, congrats to all the new mommies and daddies out there! I know your new little ones will bring you so much joy and happiness.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Will’s cousin’s wedding reception at the Hacienda in Santa Ana. You might remember Sean and Rieko from their engagement photos a few weeks back.  After returning from their lovely intimate wedding in Hawaii, they invited all of their friends and family to celebrate with them at a beautiful brunch reception, which they also asked me to photograph. Brunch + wedding photography = a very happy Brandi.
