Ever hear of My Best Friend's Wedding? Great movie. This wedding reminded me of that movie, actually. No - not because Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz were there (maybe next time) - but because my lovely bride happened to be the best friend of a former bride I photographed (I see you and miss you, Katie and Jordan)! Man, I love it when stuff like this happens!

Now that you have the history- back to the beautiful couple of the hour, Olivia and Rick. What a perfect pair! Their personalities and love for all-things-whimsical translated into a gorgeous, and quirky Mt. Woodson Castle wedding.

As a profession, Rick writes musicals and he actually performed one for Olivia on the day of the wedding. I thought I've seen it all - but this was definitely a first and, let me tell you, it was pretty amazing!

As the day unfolded, I knew I was in for a super epic night. Olivia and Rick had an adorable and furry ring bearer (evidence below). The lighting for their portraits at Mt. Woodson Castle was pretty close to perfect. And I about collapsed in delight when the mother/son dance turned into a flash mob.

See, I told you. Epic.
