Santa Fe, New Mexico wedding at La Fonda // Desiree + Daniel

Every once in a while, I get the chance to skip town and explore the lands outside of SoCal - all while calling it "work". This destination wedding in Santa Fe, New Mexico will easily be one of my favorite trips of 2017!

Santa Fe is definitely my jam. This capital city sits in the Sangre de Cristo foothills and its crooked streets are littered with architecture that made my heart swoon. Don't even get me started on the plant scene. It was magical.

But enough about my love affair with this city, let's talk about this gorgeous couple and their wedding! Desiree and Daniel are the sweetest and I was very impressed with Daniel's involvement in the planning process. Don't get me wrong, I love my grooms, but it was a nice change of pace to have one really dedicated to the process and so on top of things!

Desiree and Daniel chose their venues well with the ceremony being at a gorgeous cathedral on the plaza called Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi! This place was unreal! I could've spent the day just photographing the interior. After the "I Do's", we just hopped across the street to La Fonda on the Plaza. It was perfect! Desiree and Daniel were surrounded by their closest family and friends and it was obvious how excited they were to be getting married!
