Colorful OC Fair Engagement // Kristie + Dillon

I can't express how happy it makes me when a couple thinks outside of the box for their engagement session. After all, your engagement session should feel more like a fun date than a photo shoot. This makes for more natural and genuine photos. Kristie and Dillon had the right idea by choosing the OC Fair as their backdrop. Despite the crowds and weird weather we were having that day, these two knew how to have a good time. I became more of a fly-on-the-wall while they laughed and kissed and were just their generally adorable selves. It made a normally challenging situation to photograph (ie. people coming up and asking you what kind of camera I have and staring at my couple while walking right into my shot, kind of challenge), easy as pie. Seriously, I could photograph these two ALL DAY LONG. And I am looking forward to doing just that at their Highland Springs wedding this November. (Sidebar: Kristie has got some killer style. How cute were her outfit choices for both her and Dillon? I die over her heart bando. Future couples take note. ;))
